Photobomb
Pairing: Cyberverse Megatron/Arcee Rating: Teen Details/Themes: Selfie gone wrong, surprise encounter, caught red-handed ------------------------------------- She had a huge album of photos on her holopad, from selfies with Earth and Cybertron wildlife to selfies with bots from both factions. What could she say? It’s a hobby. Most Decepticon selfies were completely by accident, as in she took them when she came across a random moment to do so without getting blasted or yelled at. Some of the Cons were actually nice about it. The one who surprised her the most to date was Soundwave who even posed despite sneaking up to attack her. The fight hurt but the picture was worth it. Since the divide of Cybertron where one half belonged to Autobots and the other to Decepticons, Arcee had not a lot of chances to make her collection grow due to the wall that split them and most Cons guarding it were often just random soldiers, not a great variation to go by. The peace between the factions led to some boredom and given she couldn’t do her other hobby...complete destruction...she was left with the challenge of getting more pictures. So, what was there to do? Well...she was not one for rules much. Arcee peeked her helm over the faction wall, scouting for any patrols before launching herself over the wall. She landed face first with a small grunt, much to her chagrin, but brushed off her fall and ran into Decepticon territory. The buildings there were graffitied and slightly worse off than the Autobot’s side; her type of town. She stuck to the shadows and wandered in silence around any Cons she came across. A few of them were big figures like Lockdown and Clobber who she immediately did a selfie to capture them in frame without giving herself away. Smiling, she immediately set off to find better, illegal photos. Within an hour of searching, she had “met” Skywarp, Shadow Striker, Dead End, Thundercracker, Astrotrain, and Soundwave. Rummaging through the photos in a vacant alley, she couldn’t stop grinning. However, her sights turned from the holopad to a peculiar building, one she recognized as Megatron’s citadel. A part of her processor argued how it was a bad idea because she could be caught and arrested but on the other hand, she had a rare opportunity to get a selfie with Megatron in it. Or third option, she could at least get to see Megatron’s citadel in general if the latter didn’t happen. Two wins and one downside: the odds seemed good enough for her daredevil side. Navigating around a high populace area to Megatron’s citadel was a calculating effort but nothing she couldn’t pull off. When she did get in, Megatron was nowhere to be found. She searched the building, hoping no one was alerted to her presence until she found his throne room, also empty it seemed. There was some disappointment but at the same time, she had Megatron’s throne in her sights. It wouldn’t hurt to take a selfie on his throne if nobody was there. A devious grin lit up her faceplates and Arcee quickly leapt into action, seating herself on the throne chair and beginning her onslaught of photos Optimus would probably yell at her for and Grimlock would be disappointed in her for. She did fancy poses, some sultry ones that would never see the light of day for any bot to view, and then she did a side view of the throne. She sat with her legs over one armrest and the other she leaned against with a peace gesture she picked up on Earth. Reviewing them, all were beautiful, especially the side view but something caught her optics and she froze. There beside her kneeling next to the throne and with an infamous smirk of unknown intent was Megatron. She glanced at the wall ahead when it dawned on her just what that meant. “Enjoying the perfect shot? I hope you got my good side too.” Arcee brought her legs inward on the throne and slowly peered around to see Megatron standing with one arm casually placed on the mantle of the chair and leaning against it still with that smirk of his. She felt puny in his shadow, a sense of power dripping from his presence. She gave a cheap laugh, “Ah yes, well, I consider myself an amateur photographer.” “Tell me, my dear, any particular reason you are on the Decepticon side...on my throne?” He mused. Arcee didn’t have any excuse plausible to get her out of trouble, so instead she simply got up from the throne and walked backwards, “Oh wow, look at the time! I got to, uh, go meet Grimlock for a sparring match. You know Dinobots, always wanting to play.” Megatron followed her with his own amused laugh, “But what about another photo with me, isn’t that what you came here for? Soundwave was disappointed he never got to give you his autograph.” Of course, Soundwave found out. Before she could run, Megatron grabbed her wrist and led her back to his throne where he seated himself. But instead of just keeping her standing, he maneuvered her to sit on his lap, keeping one servo on her back to prevent her from leaving and close enough to snag the holopad with her pictures. Arcee was uncertain about her position but didn’t dare move as Megatron went through her files, finding all of her pictures between today and the ones she kept from Earth. “Very nice composition. I especially love this one,” he said, pointing to the photo of her suggestive pose in his throne. She should have erased that as she was talking to him. “You wouldn’t mind of I kept a copy of some of these. I’ll even sign the one with me in it in return.” “I’m...um...glad you liked them.” “In fact, how about we do one more?” That caught her attention and she was unsure just what that implied. He brought her close and took the photo. She felt herself blushing hard from her own gimmick being turned against her. Megatron reviewed it and clicked his glossa, “Well, that’s definitely a photo to keep.” She saw exactly what he meant and grew flushed even more. The photo consisted of her on Megatron’s lap at an angle that would fool even the most trained optics into thinking she was seducing him. Then she grew horrified when he saved the picture as a favorite and sent himself a link to it right in front of her! “I’ll keep a copy just in case you try and cross over again without permission, call it a fee to allow you to be escorted back to the Autobot side,” he said. She frowned but it wasn’t like she had much of a choice in the matter. She was handed back her holopad and Megatron stood up, forcing her to stand again. He guided her out, keeping behind her to watch her. The walk of shame was not a fun thing to bear as the Decepticons stared at her, some even said more unfavorable things as she approached the wall. Soundwave was there to see her through. Before she left, Megatron cleared his throat. “By the way, Arcee, if you ever come back over here, I’ll see it as an act of switching sides and I will not hesitate to release that photo to prove it. Do visit again some time, I’ll be waiting,” Megatron gleamed with a smile. Arcee stuck her glossa out at him and walked back to the Autobot side with some pride. It may have not been exactly as she planned and she certainly wasn’t going to be stepping over there again anytime soon, but at least she had some amazing photos to add to her collection. She hardly paid attention to anything the Decepticons were saying as she activated her holopad. Upon seeing the image of her over Megatron’s lap, she actually grew quite hysterical and broke a smile. As embarrassing as it would be, Megatron can’t blackmail her for something she’s not exactly discredited by. Two could play at that game. With her gall, she would spread her own photo as an act of accomplishment to achieving the best photo ever taken. By the time Megatron released his version, it would have no impact. Sometimes, a photobomb was a great thing to experience and she had proof....
